Good news first? Why not...

The chances of amputaion is very low. awsome.
this concludes our good news portion for the evening...

Now the crappy parts:

It is an even MORE rare type of cancer called "Mesenchymal Chondrosarcoma".
Big word. Bad prognosis.

The Dr. put it to us like this: It is going to be as hard to fight, if not harder, than lukemia. AWSOME!!!

Chemo is up first, as soon as medi-cal goes through.
Then another surgery. Then radiation. Then hopefully remission.
The research is fleeting because it is so rare. I guess only 2 cases per year, but tomorrow i will post what my sister has found on the subject. (thanks Lorra).

Also we have to look at genetic testing, since his sister has breast cancer, and he has another type of tumor on his adreanl gland, so it hints to a certain genetic abnormality, that pre-disposes them to cancer. So it will effect his other siblings and our children. AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!

It's hard to find the words, so I will just say again how much you guys are loved and that my family is praying for yours.

Praying for MediCal to go through. My kids & I have been praying for your morning and night. It sounds like you guys have the best medical care available (once the payment comes through). They are going to treat it aggressively. And Chris is so right, God is so much bigger than this.
Cancer sucks.

My dear Kristyn and Randy, My heart cries out to the God who heals. Word cannot say what I feel but the Holy Spirit knows. May you rely on His comfort and strength that surpasses.

Kristyn, I am so glad you are blogging through this, not so you can fulfill curious minds, but because you are blessing others by sharing your own, very personal pain and your faith. To you, it may feel flawed and weak at times, but you are and will continue to be a blessing to your readers. "Though he slay me, yet will I trust Him." Job 13:15

I love you both. You are in my prayers.

I agree with the comment, "I'm glad that there are not many statistics" because now you can concentrate on the journey God has placed before your family. God never promised heaven on Earth, that is reserved for HEAVEN with Him. He did promise that if we trsut Him our journeys will glorify Him. And our bodies were made to praise, even during the sucky times! Trust in the Lord He has sent you on this journey and you can glorify Him through. I'll talk to you soon.
