Life lessons

#1~ Bowling in the bowling ally is NOT the same as playing on the wii... your fingers actually have to grip the ball and other people can see you when your ball goes into the gutter.

#2~ Skating is a childhood sport. Keeping that in mind, if you are an adult, preparing to strap on four wheels to each foot and expect to stay ON those four wheels, DO NOT HAVE A BEER WITH LUNCH! Now, i still didn't fall, but it was a LOT harder to control my legs and not fall flat on my butt.

We spent a fun Sunday as a family, that began in the bowling ally, then Viking Skate, now we face the reality of yet another Monday full of the wonderful chemo drug Randy is SOOOO fond of. Please keep up your prayers, especially for Randy's anxiety. 2 down, 7 to go...

Uggh...I tried skating a couple weeks ago with my kids. Let's just say it wasn't pretty. But we had fun. Glad you guys had a great day! Praying for Randy as he starts round 3, and praying for you and the kids, as well.

You are hilarious. I used to skate all the time as a kid and so I thought no problem when I went to Disco Skate Fever a couple years ago. Let's just say skating is not the same as riding a bike. I am glad you had fun. Let Randy know that lots of prayers are coming from the Edwardson homes. We love you guys.

Randy looked so good tonight. Healthy and strong. I pray it lasts and he's on his way to kicking 'it's' butt!

So happy to see that you guys are taking time as a family to get out and have some fun.

That is what they make knees pads and elbow pads for! We inline skate with the kids (age 3 and 5-they have a smaller fall!) But much like skiing, if you if spend the day falling it is fun. The beer at lunch probably helped so that you didn't over react! Prayers are for you and your family today and everyday. Miss you!
